Plus Codes are like street addresses for places that don’t have one or may not be known.
They are based on latitude & longitude, & displayed as numbers & letters.
With a Plus Code, you can help rescuers more easily find locations.
As an example, the Plus Code for the Inverloch Visitor Information Centre is 9P8H+H4
On your Android or iOS device, open the Google Maps app: Touch & hold a place to drop a pin on Google Maps. The Plus Code will then be displayed.
